After his recent acquittal on the controversial illegal gun possession charges, NBA Youngboy's legal team is demanding the Judge for something more.
The 22-year-old rapper was found not guilty over the federal gun case thrown at him in the state of California.
However, he is not fully out of the woods yet as he is facing a separate gun charge from his hometown in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
This time, NBA Youngboy's lawyer is asking the court to be free from house arrest.
NBA Youngboy Demands Utah House Arrest Be Lifted
As stated on court documents that AllHipHop obtained recently, NBA Youngboy's fans filed a motion to modify his bail order from October 2021.
Lawyers argue that since a grand jury found NBA Youngboy not guilty in the case in California, his existing house arrest in Louisiana should be lifted.
Among the contention that the rapper's defense is pushing forward is Youngboy's flourishing music career.
"As this Court is aware, Mr. Gaulden is a prominent Hip Hop artist and has the potential for a lucrative career in both producing music and performing live events. The proposed modifications would allow him to both record music with third parties at professional studios located throughout the country and would allow him to perform at live events," the document reads.
NBA Youngboy, formally known as Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, was arrested in his hometown in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in September 2020.

The then 20-year-old artist was currently in a music video shoot and reportedly had a gun on the set. He was ultimately taken into custody after a search. Fifteen other people on the scene were charged similarly.
After much help from his lawyers from Atlantic Records, Gaulden was put on house arrest in Utah, where former soldiers will patrol the grounds of his house. A separate recording studio was also built among the premises.
Since then, the multi-platinum selling artists have been hot in the eyes of law enforcement authorities.
Last weekend, fans of the budding rapper were finally celebrating after his acquittal on the California federal gun case - avoiding the seven-year imprisonment that the prosecution was initially gunning for.
