Rolling Loud Miami 2022 is not just packed with a huge hip-hop craving crowd but also with surprise guests!
Pulling a last-minute surprise is Day 3 headliner Kendrick Lamar, who shocked everyone after pulling out Kodak Black on the stage on his headlining set.
Days before his guest performance on Kdot's Rolling Loud Miami set, Kodak Black was reported to be on house arrest following his recent jail stint in Ft. Lauderdale.
Kendrick Lamar, Kodak Black on Rolling Loud Miami 2022
Tapped as the final headline act for the three-day festival, Kendrick Lamar did not disappoint!
Closing last Sunday night with a bang, the "We Cry Together" hitmaker lit the crowd even more as he brought Kodak Black to the Hard Rock Stadium in Florida.
Debuting their "Mr. Morale and The Big Steppers" hit "Silent Hill" in front of a live audience, Kodak Black's entrance prompted the Rolling Loud Miami crowd to a huge cheer.
Kendrick's performance at the Rolling Loud Miami 2022 Festival coincides with his ongoing "Mr. Morale and The Big Steppers" World Tour.
Before Kodak's guest performance, Kendrick also pulled out his cousin, Baby Keem, to perform their GRAMMY-winning song "Family Ties."
The performance came hours after Kodak Black finished his own set on Rolling Loud Miami, which he was still invited to despite a recent run-in with the police last week.
Kodak Black Placed On House Arrest: The Truth Revealed
Last Jul. 15, 2022, Kodak Black was arrested in Ft. Lauderdale in Florida after police stopped him and seized 31 oxycodone pills and cold cash on his Dodge Durano.
Shortly after, he was charged with trafficking. But despite the presidential pardon he got from Former President Donald Trump, those crimes would not go unnoticed by a judge ruling his case.
Despite posting a $225,000 surety bond in exchange for freedom, rumors that the "Super Gremlin" rapper was placed on house arrest emerged last week.
HiphopDX confirmed recently that it was all factual.
Per VladTV-obtained legal documents, a judge placed Kodak on house arrest. The $225,000 bond that he also paid guarantees that the Pompano Beach-native shall submit himself to drug testing, wearing a GPS ankle monitor, and must remain at home unless because of medical reasons, court orders, and employment.
In that case, Kodak's Rolling Loud Performance was legal as the bond covers employment, which he attended to.
The Ft. Lauderdale brings more weight on Kodak Black's future actions as the supervised release shall last until 2024. Should he be charged again, he might be subjected to more jail time, an extended supervised release period, or both.
