After a successful launch of the first single from their upcoming album "Being Funny In A Foreign Language," The 1975 is back with a brand new song, and they unveiled the release date through posters.

According to Billboard, fans around London, United Kingdom, spotted black and white posters featuring band members Matty Healy, Adam Hann, Ross MacDonald, and George Daniel.

The posters also included the release date, which will be on August 3.

This is not the first time the band teased the song as Healy took to his Instagram account a few days ago to share a photo of himself wearing a blond wig.

He captioned the post with the title of the song.

"Happiness" is a part of the English group's fifth album, "Being Funny In A Foreign Language." It is the follow-up to their lead single, "Part of the Band."

In an interview with Rolling Stone UK, Matty Healy explained how the group worked on the album, saying the songs were written then they went directly to a recording studio where they produced and recorded it.

"We've essentially not done that before, apart from the first album .. I've always wanted to make something very, very intimate and something that allows you to be witness to a moment," he added.

Jack Antonoff, popularly known for producing hit tracks by Taylor Swift, Lorde, Lana Del Rey, Carly Rae Jepsen, and more, also contributed to the album's production alongside the frontman and Daniel.

Healy said they had a series of conversations, including the "macho versus tough," where they wanted to create something that wasn't "macho" but felt "quite tough and grown up and real."

The recent interview and announcement come a few weeks after the band released "Part of the Band," where it sounded significantly different from the music they produced in the past.

The 1975 experimented and ventured out into a different sound by using heavy orchestral notes and saxophone combined with the folk genre.

Their upcoming album will be available for streaming and purchase starting October 14 via Dirty Hit.

"Being Funny In A Foreign Language" will be the band's shortest album throughout their career so far as it only contains 11 tracks, contrary to their previous releases.

2018's "A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships" had 15 songs, while their recent "Notes On A Conditional Form" had a whopping 22 tracks.
