While performing the hit track, Metallica gave an homage to the worldwide Netflix sensation by playing footage of Joseph Quinn's character Eddie Munson on the stage screens.
The footages were all from the season finale of the cult show, which shows Eddie Munson shredding his electric guitar back in 1983. Because of the huge cult following, "Master of Puppets" and Metallica gained a whole new audience and have revived their sleeping ones.
