Before her tragic death, Naomi Judd had $25 million to her name.
It has been revealed that the country superstar's last will and testament does not include any mention of either of her daughters, Wynonna and Ashley Judd. This information was obtained by Radar Online.
Larry Strickland, Naomi's husband of 33 years, is said to be the beneficiary of her will, which leaves him control of her fortune and estate.
The paperwork indicates that she chose her spouse to serve as the executor of her estate and that she nominated and appointed him to this role.
She also gave the power to her brother-in-law Reginald Strickland and Daniel Kris Wiatr as Co-Executors in the event that Larry does not complete his obligations or passed away before it was completed.
Naomi continued by saying, "I instruct that there shall be no bond required of my Executor."
However, there's no explanation as to why Naomi Judd left her daughters out of her will.
The year 1989 marked the beginning of Naomi and Larry's marriage.
Wynonna Judd, whose mother was her co-member of The Judds, is said to be "upset" at her mother's surprise decision, according to the publication. Wynonna is said to believe that she herself was one of the main influences that contributed to the success of their partnership.
After a long and arduous fight with mental illness, Naomi Judd took her own life on April 30 at the age of 76 by shooting herself.
In an interview that took place around the same time, Ashley Judd disclosed that her mother had used a firearm, and that is the only piece of information that they have provided regarding Naomi's manner of death.
"That is the piece of information that we are really uncomfortable revealing, but understand that we are in a position that if we don't say it, someone else is going to say it," she said.
