After the release of Beyonce's new album - after six long years where fans eagerly and yet patiently waited, people who worked with her speaks on how insanely she worked and why she's like Michael Jackson, who everyone know is quite a legend.
In the latest episode of Rolling Stone Music Now, famed producer-songwriters Rodney Jerkins and Storch reflect on their experience working with Beyoncé in the studio.
Scott Storch: Beyonce's Creativity is Palpable
Scott Storch had never met Beyoncé before spending a week in a South Beach studio with her in 2002, despite having worked on Destiny's Child tunes.
As soon as she began performing some of the songs they composed together, with the assistance of rapper EST, for her debut album "Dangerously in Love," released in 2003, her creativity became evident. Storch said one resounding and repeating thought she had at the time was that Beyonce was simply the best she had worked with - and she worked with so many.

Multiple unreleased tracks including three of the album's successes, "Baby Boy," "Me, Myself, and I," and "Naughty Girl," were written over the same week.
Rodney Jenkins: Unreleased Songs Can Make Fans Crazy If Put Out There
Jerkins discusses the production of Destiny's Child's "Say My Name" and "Deja Vu," the number one song on our list, in detail in his interview. He also discloses that he produced an unpublished Destiny's Child song during the group's stint and that he produced four or five unreleased Beyoncé tracks around the time of "Deja Vu," including "I Can't Go on Without You," one of his personal favorites.
"They rock," says Jerkins. "If she ever wanted to put out unreleased stuff, her fans would go crazy for those ones.. I'm sure she has so many songs she could put out for years."
Beyonce = Michael Jackson?
Beyoncé's ingenuity and attention to detail, according to Jerkins, remind him of another artist he collaborated with, Michael Jackson. If there's a higher praise than that, fans would certainly like to hear it.
"When I work with her, it reminds me so much of working with Michael Jackson," he says. "She has that same type of intensity in the booth. And she pushes herself... There's moments where she'll do something and everybody in the room knows it's flawless. And she'll say, 'Let me get that again.'"
One does not become an exceptional performer overnight though, especially one who is highly praised like this. Beyoncé has an amazing work ethic and a drive to labor until everything is flawless, which sets her apart from many other artists. She said she herself.
In an earlier interview, Beyoncé said she always prays before beginning a new endeavor. She also told Elle Magazine that she always ensure that everyone understands the aim and the underlying meaning of what she's working for so everyone's on the same page. If she is striving for excellence, she wants those around her to do the same. She also makes sure she gave EVERYTHING she got for all the work she released into the public.
It remains to be seen though whether those unreleased songs, which we are sure she also poured her everything in, can see themselves out in the market.
