Naomi Judd's family appears to be racing to court, but for what reason?
Is it because her daughters Wynonna and Ashley were left out of her will? Or are they attempting something else?
Naomi's family is requesting that a Tennessee court block the sheriff from releasing any "graphic" death photographs from her brutal suicide, according toRadar Online. Naomi sadly shot herself in April after a long and hard-fought struggle with mental illness.
Ashley Judd said that her mother used a "firearm," and she added that this was the only information they felt safe revealing at the time. However, they needed to clarify it since hearing Naomi Judd's actual cause of death from someone else would be strange.
According to the magazine, the renowned family is suing Dusty Rhoades, the sheriff of Williamson County, in an attempt to prevent the release of data pertaining to Naomi Judd's death inquiry.
Naomi's family makes it plain in court filings acquired by The Blast that they want all records, images, videos, and anything else collected at the scene of her death sealed.
According to the publication, her husband, Larry Strickland, who is the only executor of her will, submitted the request.
He allegedly requested that anything seized from the scene be kept private.
According to the legal filings, her family is concerned that the media may "file or intend to submit public records requests" to obtain access to photographs and videos recorded on the day of her death.
The lawsuit comes after Radarrevealed that Naomi's daughter Wynonna Judd plans to fight her late mother's will after discovering that she and her famous sister Ashley were not included in it.
The choice by Naomi Judd to leave her children in her will is said to have ignited a quarrel between the two renowned sisters.
Ashley is allegedly supporting Naomi's choice to choose her husband of 33 years as executor.
According to a source, Wynonna feels Ashley and Larry "conspired against her" and is already planning to "grab a piece of the pie."
Another source close to Ashley believed her mother understood what she was doing when she refused to give her The Judds' other half of her $25 million wealth.
"[Wynonna] has spent every penny she earned with The Judds. In 2004, she even enrolled into a rehab clinic for a money issue!"
