Ozzy Osbourne is ready to make a shocking move to prove that he is well and healthy after worrying his fans about his status.
The past months have been tough ones for Osbourne as he had been hit with health issues again. This made fans think about whether he would still be able to perform after the surgery.
But as usual, Osbourne decided to show that he is still healthy by reuniting with Black Sabbath's guitarist Tony Iommi during their recent performance in Birmingham, England.
On Monday, Osbourne and Iommi performed together again at the city's Commonwealth Games. The two performed their classic" Paranoid" alongside Adam Wakeman and drummer Tommy Clufetos.
They unleashed the Black Sabbath spirit within them by wearing black and showing their usual energy. For Osbourne's part, his voice sounded strong as he performed while the crowd clapped and cheered for them.
Osbourne already hinted at the performance years ago, telling ITV that he would consider playing during the opening ceremony of the 2022 Games.
"Yes, that would be fantastic. With Black Sabbath or on my own," he said, per Blabbermouth.
Ozzy Osbourne Is Doing Well
His recent performance came weeks after attending the San Diego Comic-Con where he promoted his upcoming LP.
He joined comic artist Todd McFarlene at the event and shared an update to Entertainment Tonight. The former Black Sabbath frontman particularly disclosed his current status after going through a surgery that would define his whole life.
"It's great, it's great. I like to see people, you know. That's been the hardest thing of the past few years, because I've been trying to recover from my surgery. I'm getting there. It's a slow climb back, you know?" he said.
Osbourne underwent a surgery to allow his doctors to realign the pins in his neck and back after his 2019 fall. It was tricky since he would need a lengthy amount of recuperation due to his age, and the nature of the surgery made it risky.
His wife, Sharon, revealed on "The Talk" that she would return to Los Angeles to be with her husband's side during his major operation. At that time, she revealed that it would determine the rest of his life.
Despite the worries, he eventually told his fans he was already doing well.
"I am now home from the hospital recuperating comfortably. I am definitely feeling the love and support from all my fans and send everyone a big thank you for their thoughts, prayers, and well wishes during my recovery," he wrote on Twitter.
