Lupe Fiasco just released the visual for his "Next To It" single, and it's about what you'd expect.
The Chicago rapper's song, originally released in late June, is a commentary on themes of wealth and sex in hip-hop and advertising.
The hook is — somewhat ironically — sung by co-producer Ty Dolla $ign, who is not known for his deep thoughts on hegemonic masculinity.
"Everything look better with a bitch next to it," he sings. "Rollie on a wrist let's do it / Top down on a whip that's roofless / Ain't impressed; it's the bitch that do it / Let's do it."
Lupe's third verse gave a big clue as to what the video would look like:
"N---- my hood feel like heaven / With third worlds next to it / But n---- we good we'll be even better / With 30 girls next to us."
Naturally, most of the video is attractive women making suggestive actions in skimpy clothing. There's also a thin visual stream that includes random men eating salads, pouring milk on themselves, and standings shirtless.

Lupe likes to make people think with his music. He's consistently put out tongue-in-cheek songs that poke "fun" at hip-hop standards and culture. "Next To It" is the second single off his fifth studio album, Tetsuo & Youth, which has been floating in the cloud somewhere since Fiasco announced it last year.
There's still no release date despite early summer rumors that it would be ready for stores in August, and Lupe currently has no official tour plans in place.
His most recent album - 2012's Food & Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album Pt. 1 - was supposed to precede Pt. 2, but Fiasco scrapped those plans in January of last year in favor of Tetsuo & Youth.
