Nicki Minaj's highly-awaited single has finally arrived and it is hitting the iTunes chart faster than ever not more than 24 hours since it was released.
With "Super Freaky Girl" trending non-stop since it was confirmed, Barbz is at an all-time high this August, because of Nicki Minaj's back-to-back announcements.
Apart from the release of "Super Freaky Girl," Nicki announced her new documentary film, "Nicki," and that she would be performing and receiving the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the MTV VMAs 2022.
While all of those would be happening at the end of the month, the most pressing matter for Barbz right now is when would the "Super Freaky Girl" music video would be released.
Nicki Minaj 'Super Freaky Girl' Music Video Coming Soon?
Ever since Nicki Minaj teased the Rick James-sampled song "Super Freaky Girl," Barbz is already enthused and excited for the upcoming music video the track has to offer.
However, as of this writing, the "Do We Have A Problem" hitmaker has not yet confirmed nor denied that a "Super Freaky Girl" music video would be coming, so Barbz are still crossing their fingers.
But, a tweet from a fan seemed to suggest that it would actually be coming sooner than they have expected.
After taking the time to bond with her fans on Queen Radio yesterday, Nicki Minaj thanked the Barbz in a tweet.
A fan quote tweeted Nicki - expressing their love for her and asking if they would expect a "Super Freaky Girl" music video soon because she "ate and devoured" the song.
The tweet, would have been lost on the hundreds of quote tweets, but the Queen of Rap liked the tweet.
A liked tweet from Nicki Minaj is something that Barbz do not take lighty. Last month, when "Super Freaky Girl" was teased, a fan suggested that she might be performing it in the VMAs.
Weeks later, MTV confirmed that she would be receiving the Video Vanguard Award, and would be performing as well.
Meanwhile, Nicki has released an eggplant and peach emoji-filled accompanying lyric video for "Super Freaky Girl, which has racked up over 300,000 views to date.
Nicki Minaj has yet to announced if a "Super Freaky Girl" music video is bound to release soon while Barbz remain on the lookout for more hints of a video.
As of this writing, "Super Freaky Girl" takes the lead on the US iTunes Songs Chart and holds the No. 4 spot on the US iTunes Hip-Hop/Rap Songs Chart.
