Fish Scales Shooting, Kidnapping Incident Detailed
WSBTV reported that a customer detailed how two men approached him and the rapper while they were walking to the parking deck of the brewery. From there, they were robbed and held at gunpoint.
The police confirmed that the armed individuals beat Fish Scales before forcing him into his vehicle and driving him to his home in Hapeville. The rapper, fortunately, got away from them when they reached the city but ended up sustaining a gunshot wound to the leg.
The kidnappers left the scene immediately after Fish Scales got away. He then asked people in a nearby house to get help.
The Atlanta Police Department also published a press release detailing the events after the call.
Its officials reportedly responded to a report of a robbery at 11:00 p.m. on that day. They also found his car abandoned in Georgia, 15 minutes from the rapper's brewery.
"I am certainly relieved that my business partner and brother Scales is safe and recovering...that is what is most important. We are certainly also praying for the patron who was shot outside the establishment," Nappy Roots member Skinny DeVille told 11Alive, per HipHop DX.
