Megan Thee Stallion is putting her strong foot forward as she demands $1 million from her estranged music label, 1501 Entertainment, for relief, following the label's "unconscionable" move to require her another album to fulfill the contract with her.
The GRAMMY-winning singer also alleged that the label had something to do with the "Traumazine" leak that happened shortly after submitting it to 1501 Entertainment.
Both 1501 Entertainment and Megan Thee Stallion are in a long and controversial battle for the latter's contract, which she says was a ruse to make money off her.
Megan Thee Stallion, 1501 Entertainment Lawsuit New Filing
According to PEOPLE Magazine's newly-obtained court documents, Megan Thee Stallion, named on the complaint as Megan Pete, is requesting her current music label, 1501 Entertainment, for $1 million in relief after fulfilling the requirements of her highly-contested contract.
Megan described the contract as "unconscionable," drawing irk because of its unfair contents.
For context, 1501 Entertainment argued that Megan Thee Stallion's contract was not yet finished, despite the album "Something For The Hotties" not meeting the requirement for it to be considered an album.
Megan and his lawyers slammed the music label on these revelations, which were only put to light after a few months she released it.
"1501's new position, taken months after the album's release, is clearly a ruse in an effort to try to take further advantage of Pete, at great expense, and in bad faith," the filing reads.

Meanwhile, 1501 Entertainment lawyers beg to differ on the dispute.
For them, "Something for The Hotties" did not meet the company's criteria for an album, saying that it "featured archival material and spoken word" and was released too soon after her debut album, "Good News."
Per 1501 attorney Steven M. Zager, they are still evaluating "Traumazine" if it now fits the criteria but reiterated that "Something For The Hotties" qualifies for an album based on her signed contract.
Aside from album disputes, the new filing also highlighted the "Traumazine" leaks that occurred before its intended release date. (via Billboard)
1501 Entertainment described the claims to be "preposterous." The filing states that the "Sweetest Pie" hitmaker even hired forensic investigators to determine the sources of the leaks, prompting her to release the album earlier.
