Just Sam, who soared to prominence in 2020 after winning "American Idol," is hospitalized with an unspecified ailment. She was hospitalized and then released but after just a day, she's back in a healthcare institution, signifying something is seriously wrong with her health.

Samantha Diaz, a musician based in New York City, raced to her Instagram Story to update followers on her health issues.

The 23-year-old, who won season three of ABC's hit singing competition, pleaded for assistance in a cryptic message on Wednesday, revealing she was hospitalized. However, she did not specify what landed her under the careful eye of physicians.

"100 lbs is crazy. I seriously need help," she wrote alongside a picture of scales.

She later provided an update to worried fans, telling them she was feeling better. "I'm grateful for the prayers everyone. I'm doing much better now," she told her 148K Instagram followers.

On Wednesday, Sam announced that she had returned home. She shared to her followers how grateful she was for everyone who had checked on me and then said she has been released from the hospital without issues.

However, it was not for very long.

The following day, she was back in the hospital, indicating that her health had deteriorated. "I need a better hospital bruh. I hate it here. tbh," she said.

The singer from Harlem won the first remote finale in the history of "Idol"; the long-running competition ended in 2020 due to the pandemic.

She earlier stated on the show that her grandmother has stated that she does not believe that individuals like "them" can have their goals come true." Her win therefore serves as evidence to her grandma that even people "like them" can have their dreams come true.

She shared that she has been relentless in pursuing her dreams and she now wants other young woman to do the same. if they have dreams that feel impossible, they have to continue to believe and push forward because "anyone can" achieve what they want in life.

Diaz, who sang in subway trains for a living prior to Idol, grabbed the hearts of America (and judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry, and Luke Bryan!) from the very start with her kind-hearted spirit, amazing tale, and soulful voice. Contestants and judges streamed remotely during the coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic during Diaz's winning season, which made history last month.

Because there are so many variables, the showrunners put the program together earlier in the week," Seacrest, 45, told People Magazine. Obviously, it is technically impossible to do everything live at the time, he said.

He added that occasionally, they have to be mindful of the glitches and delays in Zooms and other such applications to make sure they would have a seamless show. However, it has worked, Seacrest continued. The candidates have the opportunity to achieve something in a way that the world has has never even considered.
