Harry Styles claims the top spot of the Billboard Hot 100 again with "As It Was," marking its 5th distinct return to the summit.

It has since fiddled between the Top 5 since its debut last April and rebounded from No. 2 last week, after Nicki Minaj's "Super Freaky Girl" Debut.

On the Billboard Hot 100 Charts, Harry Styles' "As It Was" makes a comeback at the summit after sitting afloat in the Top 5 for five weeks.

According to Luminate, "As It Was" generated more than 71 million airplay radio impressions on the last tracking week, 15.2 million streams, and around 4,000 downloads.

Currently, "As It Was" is sitting at No. 1 on Billboard's Radio Songs Chart, No. 6 on the Streaming Songs Chart, and No. 22 on the Digital Songs Chart.

Billboard also says that this week's return of the track to the top of the charts is historic, as it was (no pun intended) the first song in the history of the charts to have five different stays at the all-genre blending singles chart.

What the charts meant by distinct is that the track charted No. 1, then fell and rebounded again after a few weeks.

Its first arrival on the chart was on its debut week. However, because of Jack Harlow's "First Class," it was lynched the week after. After a tug of war, "As It Was" returned to the top on the April 30 charts, marking its second return.

After a two consecutive reign of Jack Harlow's Fergie-sampled track three weeks after, Styles' song returned to the summit again on the June 4 charts, its third time, holding the entire month at No. 1.

On the July 2 charts, Drake's "Jimmy Cooks" took over, and "As It Was" only returned the week after, its fourth entrance, ruling for the next three weeks.

When Lizzo's "About Damn Time" peaked at No. 1, Styles was booted and has only returned this week, his fifth return.

Harry Styles' song has bested Mariah Carey's Christmas Hit "All I Want For Christmas Is You," 24kGoldn's "Mood," and Drake's "Nice For What," which has only logged three times yet.

The achievement came a day after Harry Styles won the MTV Video Music Awards, where the song's parent album, "Harry's House," won Album of the Year.
