Luke Bell Dead After Missing a Week: Country Singer's Real Cause of Death Foul Play?

Luke Bell, a rising country music singer, died at the age of 32 after supposedly going missing for almost a week. The question now is, was there foul play involved or the real cause of death is something else but as tragic?

Matt Kinman, a country artist and close friend of Bell, confirmed the heartbreaking news to the music website Saving Country Music.

Bell, who was born in Kentucky and raised in Wyoming, was discovered dead in Tucson, Arizona, yesterday, according to the Tucson Police Department.

He had been reported missing on August 20. According to authorities investigating the incident, the singer's cause of death is "unknown" at this time.

Kinman revealed to the music blog the Boot that his friend was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and that a recent adjustment in his medication may have "played a factor" in his disappearance.

Born in Lexington, Kentucky on January 27, 1990, and reared in Cody, Wyoming, Bell dropped out of the University of Wyoming to pursue a career in country music in Austin, Texas.

The Boot reported that he frequently performed in honky-tonks and saloons in the capital of Texas before spending a brief time in New Orleans. He then traveled to Wyoming before arriving in Nashville. After being signed by Thirty Tigers in 2016, the vagabond with a honeyed voice received his big break. Later that year, Bell released his self-titled album, which won him widespread notoriety.

During his brief but influential career, the country artist collaborated with Alabama Shakes, Margo Price, and Langhorne Slim, and even opened for Willie Nelson, Dwight Yoakam, and other country legends.

In 2016, while recounting his achievements to the Boot, Bell said, "To be honest, I live in the day, and I count smiles." He added, "That's it. Listen, half the time, I end up drinking beer with my neighbors. Life's not that bad."

With his untimely passing, Bell leaves behind a legacy as one of the most "genuine" contemporary country performers, with songs that evoke a bygone age. The singer's distinctive tone and manner drew comparisons to the late great Waylon Jennings, who sparked the Outlaw Movement in country music.

In a music world flooded with artificial, generic pop songs, many fans regarded Bell to be a true original.
