Johnny Depp will be joining Jeff Beck's upcoming North America full-time as a guitarist and vocalist, all while embroiled in a stolen lyrics scandal recently made public last month.

Depp and Beck's recent collaborative album had a song wherein it was allegedly lifted from an incarcerated man's poem without any consent from the original artist or the publisher.

The "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor threaded the music industry months after his massive televised trial against ex-wife Amber Heard.

Johnny Depp, Jeff Beck North American Tour

According to NME, Johnny Depp will join most of Jeff Beck's North American leg for the "The Jeff Beck: Live In Concert Tour" taking place this October 2022.

The duo has recently released a collaborative album, "18," composed of 13 tracks that the two have penned and recorded.

"The Jeff Beck: Live In Concert Tour" dates were already announced last August, but it was only revealed recently that Johnny Depp will be featured in the concerts.

The concert will start in October in Atlanta, Georgia, but Depp will only be featured at the Washington, DC concert the following week.

Out of the 23 performances, Depp would be present on 22, including back-to-back shows in New York at The Paramount in Huntington.

The North American tour will cap off on November 12 at the Grand Theatre, Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada.

This was not the first time that the two had worked together in music. In 2020, they dropped a cover of John Lennon's hit "Isolation."

Last May, Depp surprised the world on his return to music with a surprise performance with Beck, a day before the actual verdict was released on his defamation trial with ex-wife Amber Heard.

However, the two's music escapades have hit a bumpy road already a few months in.

Jeff Beck, Johnny Depp Stolen Lyrics Accusations

Last month, Rolling Stone released an expose article detailing that Johnny Depp and Jeff Beck's "Sad Motherfuckin' Parade" allegedly contained stolen lyrics from a poem made in 1974 by an incarcerated man.

Since the allegations hit online, Beck and Depp have not yet responded to them, but their lawyers said they are "currently reviewing" the inquiry.

As of this writing, there has been no official response from the duo's camps yet.
