Avril Lavigne has been taking the world by storm since she debuted two decades ago. Recently, she received the biggest honor in Hollywood by having her own Walk of Fame star.

During her speech, the pop-punk princess hinted at the future of her career and it seems like she's not stopping anytime soon.

She started her talk by sharing a throwback photo of herself beside Tom Cruise's star, she noted that she was 16 years old at the time and it was her first trip to Hollywood.

The "All I Wanted" hitmaker said she remembered seeing the iconic Walk of Fame with the names of some of the biggest artists in different industries like music, film, directing, and more, and she never could have imagined that she will be inducted in the future.

"This is so crazy. I am so grateful. This is probably one of the coolest days of my life," she said. (via Variety)

Regarding her career in the next few decades, the "Bite Me" songstress said she had an amazing 20 years and she "can't wait for the next 20, b******! Let's go!"

Fans were confused as to why Lavigne wore a hoodie at the event despite it being a significant ceremony in the industry.

She spoke to Entertainment Tonight, saying the jacket, which has the phrase "skateboarding is not a crime," was the exact sweatshirt she wore when she visited the Walk of Fame for the first time and it was her favorite hoodie in high school.

John Feldmann, Machine Gun Kelly Also Gave Speeches

To honor Lavigne on her milestone, her husband John Feldmann, who produced her album "Love Sux" with Mod Sun and Travis Barker, as well as Machine Gun Kelly gave their speeches.

He noted that his wife made him feel important as she would constantly ask him if he has a present for her, meaning if he has new ideas for a song.

On the other hand, Kelly noted how Avril Lavigne became a significant part of his younger years as he listened to her songs when his heart was broken.

The "emo girl" hitmaker also noted that she is an inspiration to a generation of children who felt like an outcast because of their fashion choices and skateboarding lifestyle.

Other stars who attended the event include Joel Madden, Jxdn, and Ryan Cabrera.
