Bad news for fans of Oliver Sim, it appears that you won't be seeing the singer on stage anytime soon as he just announced the cancelation of his tour for the next few months; why did he postpone his scheduled shows?
Taking to his official Instagram account, the bassist noted that one of the reasons why his album "Hideous Bastard" was created was because he imagined the tracklist to be performed live.
However, he noted that "timing is everything" and things don't work the way they do sometimes.
The xx member said his upcoming shows this September and October in Europe, the United Kingdom, and North America, will no longer happen and fans should wait "a little longer" to hear his songs to be performed live in front of an audience.
"I'm sorry for any inconvenience caused but I look forward to putting on a truly hideous show for you very soon," he added. (via NME)
The vocalist concluded his statement by expressing his gratitude to fans for their patience.
For those who have already purchased their tickets, Sim said fans should contact their individual points of purchase.
