Latto refused to perform at the recent Atlanta Black Pride Concert last weekend because the concert promoter apparently did not have the money to pay her.
The female rapper went to Instagram to clarify why she is a no-show at the concert despite her fans waiting at the venue.
Meanwhile, the tour promoter resorted to Facebook to voice out their side, confusing their fans, especially with the weird nature of the transaction.
Why Did Latto Not Show Up at Atlanta Black Pride Concert 2022?

Fans are waiting for BET Best New Artist awardee Latto to grace the venue. But to fans' dismay, she is nowhere to be found.
Heading over to her Instagram account, Latto revealed why she did not show up at the concert.
"Sorry y'all, they didn't have all my money. I love y'all," Latto said in an Instagram post.
Shortly after, the concert promoter hit back on Facebook.
"So Because we Offered To Pay Latto $5000 of her remaining balance in Zelle and the rest in cash she pulled off because she Only wanted CASH then Goes to IG and says We didn't have her money," the unnamed promoter said in a statement.
For context, the promoter wanted to pay the remaining balance to Latto via Zelle. Zelle is a digital payment application readily used by banks in the country.
Apparently, what Latto wanted was hard-cold cash, not an online payment.

Fans online are siding with Latto, saying that her response was warranted after all.
"Idk I'm with her cause split payments don't sit right with me. Folks might try to scam you," a netizen posted.
"She's not wrong. Have that money upfront," another one posted.
Others cannot seem to find the logic behind the promoters not withdrawing the cash, as it was already in their bank account.
Latto on MTV Video Music Awards 2022
Latto recently graced the MTV Video Music Awards last August as she performed her biggest hit so far, "Big Energy."
Although she failed to take any moonman in her first year as a nominee at the awards show, Latto made heads turn on the red carpet with her stunning neon green cutout blazer.
