Britney Spears's fans pleaded with her to "blink twice for help" when she was filming a weird video in the woods.
The "Toxic" singer was spotted standing in tall grass in what appeared to be a forest, adjacent to the charred remains of a car. The only remnants of the vehicle were a rusty body panel and even rustier engine components.
Spears told the camera in a perplexing turn of events, "I just crashed my car... "Oops. I really did it this time! "
The thing is, fans are left confused as to the brevity of the situation or what her intention was in posting the clip.
The actress went braless for the bizarre video, fitting her magnificent curves into a skintight black dress with a sheer panel cutout over her stomach. The somewhat off-shoulder style with long sleeves left little to the imagination, clinging to Britney's every inch and falling to mid-thigh. She combined the little gown with calf-high black boots to tackle the rugged terrain, and added a delicate gold necklace that seemed out of place with her surroundings.
The singer posed for the camera with her blonde curls cascading down her shoulder while concealing her eyes with a pair of brown Aviator sunglasses.
Fans were so preoccupied with fear that they took to the comments area to express their concerns, with one writing: "Britney, honey... who tf dressed you today? " "Heal baby, heal... you deserve peace, we all do," someone else posted. "Something's definitely wrong," one more commenter said. Another agreed, "Girl go put a bra on and get some help! This video isn't funny at all!"
"Blink twice" if you're being held captive and against your will, many said. Others, however, found Britney's video to be "hilarious," with one calling her a "comedy queen" and another misquoting her classic song: "But I thought the old lady crashed it at the end!" "
Spears was rescued by the cops earlier this year after her Mercedes ran out of gas while travelling on a Los Angeles roadway.
She notified officials that she could only drive toward the exit due to a lack of gas and was unable to escape traffic. The California Highway Patrol later stopped traffic and pushed the singer's automobile to safety, rescuing her.
