Blake Shelton has been performing at the Grand Ole Opry for years and this is the first time he brought his wife Gwen Stefani to the stage. The duo performed together and the latter amassed a big honor throughout the evening; how did her husband react?

According to People Magazine, the two dueted their rendition of "Happy Anywhere" and "Nobody but You."

Between their songs, the "Cool" songstress expressed her gratitude to the crowd, saying she was feeling nervous and excited at the same time.

"This is one of those things that you don't dream about if you're me - and then all of a sudden I'm here with Blake Shelton," she added.

She added that stepping on the legendary stage to perform has been a "miracle" for her.

Stefani later received a big honor after performing each song as the whole crowd gave her a standing ovation, leading her husband to express his happiness online.

Taking to his official Instagram account, Shelton shared a video shot from the audience area where the crowd gave his wife a standing ovation.

"I am absolutely beside myself right now," he reacted. The country star added that seeing the audience cheer for his significant other was an "incredible moment to witness."

The pop star's recent performance marks her first time singing at the event in person as she previously performed virtually during the first few months of the pandemic.

Aside from performing, it appears that the event also became a small reunion for the two coaches and former "The Voice" contestants as Wendy Moten of season 21, Jake Hoot of season 17, and Todd Tilgham of season 18 also performed that evening.
