Lance Bass has heard about Britney Spears "deciding" she's quitting performing on stage and has a lot to say about it.
For one, he believes it and does not believe it at the same time. He thinks that for sure, Spears meant what she said and is not keen to perform at the moment, but he knew she'll find it hard to stay away from it for good too. He's willing to wait for the day to come.
Lance Bass, like many Britney Spears admirers, understands the pop star's perspective when she stated she will "probably never perform again."
In an interview with Rolling Stone, the member of NSYNC stated, "I want her to do whatever she feels comfortable with for sure."
Britney's 13-year conservatorship was dissolved last year, and in the months following, the singer has made startling claims about the alleged abuse she endured while in her father's care.

The Grammy winner stated that she does not wish to perform because the incident has scarred her. "I'm sure she's not thinking about performing and being on set anywhere," Lance explained, "but I know Britney, and she loves performing. She loves being an entertainer, and I see her back on that stage at some point."
While Lance is uncertain as to when Britney would return to the stage, he stated, "We all want her to create new music."
Noting her new single "Hold Me Closer" featuring the famous Elton John, Lance stated, "We got a tiny taste of Elton John, therefore we want a full album."
"Whether she tours with it or not is irrelevant. We only desire the melody... We are all behind her," he added.
Lance provided an update on the "Lucky" singer, stating that she is "doing fantastic" now that she is surrounded by friends, including himself.
"She seems super happy," he explained. "She's just dealing with coming down from this traumatic experience the last 10 years of her life, and I think that takes a lot of getting used to ... She's got a lot of trauma to deal with."
Britney Spears announced in an Instagram post that she will "likely never perform again." This announcement may be unsurprising, given all the issues the actress has been dealing with since the conclusion of her conservatorship.
However, it is both sad and ironic, given that she and Elton John just finished their cooperation, which has helped her return to the charts.
In a recent social media message, the pop sensation addressed her admirers' anticipation that she will perform again.
In the caption of a shot of herself from behind, she emphasized the lack of control she had over her performances during her thirteen-year conservatory training. In November, the contractual agreement expired. Spears, 40, revealed that her tour experiences, including those with professional photographers, had traumatized her.
