PnB Rock's murder investigation is delving deep into his background.
According to TMZ, investigators now believe this was more than simply a random crime. In fact, they believe his murder robbery was plotted by his adversaries.
LAPD insiders who talked to the site said that the case is gradually heading in numerous ways.
Detectives are looking into the late rapper's personal life, particularly those with whom he previously had rubbed elbows, and maybe those with whom he butted heads, resulting in fights and feuds.
According to TMZ, officials are looking into his links to Atlanta, where he spent some time, as well as his homeland of Philadelphia.
They're even inquiring if PnB Rock has any known adversaries who might wish to kill him.
In the weeks following his murder, the rapper, whose true name was Rakim Hasheem Allen, had his lyrics examined by detectives to determine whether he had mentioned any feuds in his songs.
Authorities first thought it was a deadly robbery in which some random criminals spotted where the rapper and his girlfriend were and what they were up to on social media. They also assumed that the thieves had just launched an attack.
However, the criminals did not simply take his jewels and flee the scene. Instead, they shot PnB Rock many times, killing him.
Police now believe this was a more intricate plot by someone seeking vengeance.
The police have no solid leads on the suspects. However, they are apparently tracking down the vehicle using camera feeds and determining who owns the getaway automobile.
Though they are receiving a large number of tips, it is taking them a long time to verify and check which ones are genuine.
Meanwhile, authorities think that the rapper's girlfriend had nothing to do with PnB Rock's death.
There was a notion raised by angry social media users about why Steph shared their whereabouts, with many thinking that she did it on purpose.
Steph is not thought to have been engaged in the planning or execution of the murder in any manner, according to the publication.
PnB Rock was shot and killed while dining Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles restaurant located in South Los Angeles. The rapper was shot multiple times and the video of the shooting even went viral online.
He is survived by his two children, Milan and Xuri.
