Liam Gallagher has been performing for decades now since he became a part of "Oasis" and eventually ventured out into a solo music career. Recently, he made a shocking confession about a certain ritual that he does before going on stage and it happened for over a year; what did he do?
In an interview with Apple Music 1 with Matt Wilkinson, the former "Oasis" frontman revealed that he had been drinking brandy with honey and hot water every before he takes the stage as it warms up his voice.
However, he clarified that he's attempting to get rid of the habit over his last few shows.
"It's half a bottle of brandy before I go on. I have kind of backed it off now. But the last year I've been walloping the brandy with honey and hot water, and going on a little bit," he explained.
The "Don't Look Back in Anger" hitmaker said he's been getting "a bit battered" while performing in his recent shows, but not as bad as before.
He further explained that he's getting older and not becoming as "cocksure," so he drinks brandy to "chill" him out a bit.
Whenever he drinks alcohol ahead of his shows, he will realize on his seventh song that he's doing the right thing and he would like to "have another one."

However, it's taking a toll on his health because, by the 20th song, he explained that the bottle of Brandy is almost empty, but he clarified that people shouldn't be dependent on alcohol whenever they go on stage.
"I don't normally drink before I go on. I haven't done for years so I have sort of gotten back into drinking before I go on. But I think it makes for a bit of a lairy gig. All in moderation, do you know what I mean?" he added. (via NME)
Liam Gallagher Previously Quit Alcohol
In a 2011 interview, the Beady Eye frontman revealed that he became sober for six months while on tour with his band as he previously went drinking for 20 years and he considers it "rubbish."
Liam Gallagher then recalled a story in 1996 when Oasis were set to perform in Knebworth, but he forgot that they were scheduled for two shows.
Since he didn't know the band will have a second night, he got drunk after the first show and woke up on a door. Despite drinking the night prior, he had to do the performance again and it was "heavy" for him.
