Rihanna broke the internet upon announcing that she would headline the Halftime Show of Super Bowl LVII over the weekend and many fans are wondering which songs she is going to perform live as she hasn't released any music since 2016.

Despite not having new music projects over the past years as she heavily focused on her makeup line Fenty Beauty, Rihanna still managed to dominate charts and remained significantly relevant in the music industry how did she manage to do it?

According to Billboard, the recent Super Bowl performers like Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, The Weeknd, and more, featured songs that they released close to their performances, but Rihanna has yet to announce a new album.

The outlet suggested that new music won't matter as the "Rude Boy" hitmaker is still getting numbers and it's all because of her big influence in the industry.

To prove her relevance in the music scene, Rihanna still remains one of the biggest streaming artists annually despite not releasing any new projects.

She's currently placed at number 34 on Luminate's year-to-date most streamed artist list and she has 1.67 billion on-demand streams this year so far.

Regarding her weekly statistics, the mom of one doesn't have to rely on one single from a specific album as different songs spanning from different eras are still charting and amassing millions of streams.

Her current most popular song for the week ending September 22 is "Love the Way You Lie," a collaborative track with Eminem released 12 years ago.

In addition, she still graces the Artist 100 chart after 234 weeks beating Harry Styles, Beyoncé, Dua Lipa, and Kanye West.

A fan asked whether she'll be coming out with a new music project soon, and the account attached two messages from an anonymous source, saying a new record will be released on January.

Fans don't have to wait any longer as she will allegedly drop a new song before Halloween. In addition, Golden Voice also wanted the singer to headline Coachella next year.
