Kodak Black is pissed at Latto's big win at the recently concluded 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards last October 4.
Latto won Song of the Year the other night, besting six other nominees, including Kodak Black's "Super Gremlin," among many other hip-hop stars.

Evidently, Kodak Black was not happy with Latto's "Big Energy" win at the BET Hip Hop Awards as it managed to outperform hits from Drake, Future, Cardi B, and even Kanye West in the Song of the Year Category.
Kodak was also nominated on the roster, but he revealed that even though he was not actually gunning for it, another female rapper, also included in the pack, deserved the win better than Latto.
"The Woman Empowerment Shit Kool ! Don't Take Nun From Nobody But You Still Gotta Work For It ! Don't Jus Simply Give It To Somebody Kuz They A Woman !!!!! If That's The Case Y'all Shoulda Gave Song Of The Year To Glorilla Not That Hating Ass Mutt," Kodak said in an Instagram post.
Not only did Kodak take a snipe on Latto, he even posted a photo of Connie Orlando, BET's Executive Vice President and Head of Specials, Music Programming, and Music Strategy. He then proceeded to call for the termination of Orlando from his post.
As if everything he said on the rant was enough, the "Pimpin' Ain't Eazy" hitmaker" proceeded to go on Instagram Live and fired off at Latto, calling him a "Frappuccino," possibly referring and joking to Latto's mulatto origins.
Latto had the perfect clap back. In a set of sleek photos of herself, she flipped a finger over to Kodak Black with the hashtag #Frapuccino. Over on Twitter, she proceeded to taunt her even more, asking what flavor of frappuccino she tasted like.
Kodak Black clarified on his Instagram post that even though it was not Drake or Future who got the award, GloRilla should have gotten Song of the Year for "F.N.F. (Let's Go)" rather than Latto, doubling down the hatred she had for the "It's Givin'" rapper.
Earlier this year, Latto revealed that there was a male rapper who apparently made advances on her in exchange for a collaboration, but she eventually turned it down. No one was named in the allegations, but many pointed out that it was Kodak Black, thus the two's back and forth.
