50 Cent's estranged son, Marquise Jackson, took a jab at his father for sending $6,700 monthly in child support, despite earning a lot as a rapper.
In an interview with vlogger Choke No Joke, Jackson revealed what it was like growing up as a child of a famous hip-hop artist, and the 25-year-old did not have a lot of nice memories to share about it.
According to him, the monthly child support that came in was not enough to cover all the expenses. He also emphasized that they were living in New York during that time.
"You're talking about a Forbes lister, you're talking about someone that has problems with everybody, you can't just live in any neighborhood, $81,000 is not a substantial amount of money," he said, referring to the multi-awarded rapper.
"You can't just live anywhere. You talking about you got beef with everybody in the industry, you can't just live anywhere," he added.
Jackson was pointing out the controversies and conflicts that surrounded the rapper, as 50 Cent is known to not back down from a flight.
House Fire
Despite his immense wealth and success, Jackson claimed that 50 Cent was not able to provide for him growing up.
"I know what it feels like to have nothing, alright. I jumped out of a burning house. I had nothing. I had to rebuild my life over with $6700 a month."
The house fire he was referring to was a house fire that allegedly took place during court proceedings between 50 Cent and Shaniqua Tompkins, Jackson's mother.
In a previous interview with Streetz954atl, she claimed "we had a house fire during the court proceedings and we lost everything and he [50 Cent] got the insurance money. He was trying to kick us out of the house..We lost everything."
"We jumped out of a second-story building and he got his insurance money."
Socks
"I'm not talking about I want a Lambo; at the time, I wanted at least socks," he said. "Basketball socks [are] twelve dollars. I should not want for anything, right?"
Choke No Joke shared the conversation on his Instagram account, captioning it "[...] The mind manipulation and division of father and child by the mother is a conversation that needed to be had because people don't realize the mental illness that is caused by the separation of father and child. [sic]"
"We go half on a Baby and then it's the Mother's child but we are financially responsible without any custodial rights unless by court order."
Not all netizens sympathized with Jackson, as many pointed out that his lifestyle was too lavish.
"Marquise Jackson (50 cent's [first] born) is a "mother son" and a "mother son" is very dangerous because he is more like a female than a male, [sic]" tweeted a user.
As of this writing, 50 Cent is yet to respond to his son's claims against him.
