After what seemed like forever, British rapper Stormzy is finally returning to the music scene with a brand new album which is slated to be released globally on Nov. 25 via 0207 Def Jam/Interscope Records.

The cover art for "This Is What I Mean" was released for all to see. It shows a letter on a doorstep with the album title written on it, reports say.

The 29-year-old rapper also released the tracklist, which boasted 12 songs. The album starts with "Fire + Water," followed by the title track "This Is What I Mean," "FireBabe," "Please," "Need You," "Hide & Seek," "My Presidents Are Black," "Sampha's Plea," "Holy Spirit," "Bad Blood," "I Got My Smile Back," and "Give It To The Water."

Unlike his previous albums, this one seemed to be done completely by himself, without the help of any featured artists.

He Is Back

Stormzy, born Michael Ebenezer Kwadjo Omari Owuo Jr., released his previous album, "Heavy Is The Head' in 2019. It boasts a star-studded tracklist, with songs featuring Ed Sheeran, H.E.R., Yebba, Aitch, Burna Boy, and Headie One.

It is evident in the fan reactions that they have been waiting for this comeback for quite some time now. Several tweets called him "goat" or replied with goat emojis, referring to the acronym "Greatest Of All Time."

The rapper revealed that he worked on the album during a retreat to Osea Island, reports say. It is a small island in the Blackwater Estuary.

"When you hear about music camps, they always sound intense and somber. People saying, 'We need to make an album.' 'We need to make some hit records.'" He said. "But this felt beautifully free. We're all musicians, but we weren't always doing music."

He further explained what his days were like on the island, playing football, walking around, and taking pictures. He explained that the therapeutic process helped him create "very beautiful music."

Stormzy soft-launched back into the music scene the previous month as he shared his single "Mel Made Me Do it," reports say.

The music video was star-studded as it had cameos from Olympic winner Usain Bolt, Louis Theroux, Little Simz, Headie One, and more.

He featured Stylo G and Wretch 32 who did a monologue. The music video has garnered over four million views and 280,000 comments as of this writing.
