Although Madison Beer seemed to be relatively new to the music industry, she first penetrated the music scene in 2012, thanks to his mentor and dear friend Justin Bieber.
For the "Baby" hitmaker, it's a full circle moment because he was the one who scouted Beer on YouTube, turning her into a full-fledged star - the same thing that happened to him with Usher.
Now, Madison is giving her flowers back to Bieber for the unrelenting support the superstar has poured over to her.
Speaking to Metro UK, Madison shared how her relationship with Bieber has grown despite differing genres and schedules.
'He definitely gave me a lot of advice, and of course, I still keep in contact with him; I think he's amazing. He's super focused on his own life obviously now, and we obviously don't speak as much, but he's been incredible every step of the way, and I'm really grateful that I had someone who also is so experienced and knowledgeable in the industry. He signed me so early that I still have all the tools that I still find useful to this day," she opened up.
Historically speaking, the two singers owed a lot to YouTube as their singing videos on the platform became their own tickets to stardom.
Meanwhile, the "Reckless" songstress recalled a particular time when she made a huge move to her budding career when she stepped out of her music label to become independent.
For the 23-year-old artist, stepping into Islands Records, her former label, felt like she was just stepping into a role that was already forged for her rather than helping her carry out her vision of what her artistry would be.
"When I first got signed I felt like I was stepping into a role I had been told to play instead of just having my own visions amplified, so that was definitely a weird tricky thing for me which is why I decided to be independent for so long because I was like, I don't want to experience this again, I want to find my music that I like," she shared.
Currently, Madison Beer is signed with Epic Records and has already released her debut album, "Life Support." She has already toured Europe and North America to support her first album of the same name.
