The Rolling Stones are ready to release an album, their first release of original material in 18 years.

According to The Sun, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Ronnie Wood have been recording in New York with other world-class musicians on a future album to finish the basic tracks for their first release in over two decades.

This is also the band's debut album without founding drummer Charlie Watts. He died in 2021, just before their most recent tour, following nearly 60 years with the band.

According to a person who talked with the magazine, there were some doubts about what the Rolling Stones would do next following Charlie's death.

Their tour dates had already been announced, but it was unknown what their future held.

According to the source, after reflecting on their thoughts, they believe the best thing to do is to keep going and do what they've always done as a band, which is to make new songs and tour for their fans.

"They've taken a hit in recent years, but the show must go on - as The Stones always do."

Following the 2023 release, another large tour would most certainly include US, South American, and European dates, according to The Sun.

Despite the fact that just three remain, it has been proven that they are still as dedicated and excited about producing music as they were before.

This comes after Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall were seen on a dinner date with his girlfriend Melanie Hamrick and model daughter Georgia May Jagger a few days earlier.

The Rolling Stones front man and the American model and actress were married for 22 years, had four children, and were frequently photographed as a celebrity couple of the time.

They did, however, split up 45 years after they first met. Even with their new relationships, they are content to be in one other's presence.

Meanwhile, a documentary on Rolling Stones bassist Darryl Jones is expected to be released, with interviews with all band members, including the late Charlie Watts, in what are claimed to be his final televised interviews.

Charlie said of their bassist, "In a band you have to get on with everyone, really."

"And Darryl is one of those people who - he's very easy to work with and very pleasant to be around".

"He's one of the best bass players in the world," Keith said of Darryl. "He played with Miles Davis for five years, and that's no mean resume, you know?"

The documentary is directed by Eric Hamburg.
