Following the death of Migos member Takeoff, fans have pondered whether the rapper was, as previously rumored, still on bad terms with fellow group member Offset. There were inklings of the Migos in a huge feud, leading to Offset being removed from the band, but were there some reconciliation fore Takeoff's sudden passing?

Takeoff, whose full name was Kirsnick Khari Ball, was a member of the Grammy-nominated rap group Migos, along with his uncle Quavo and cousin Offset. On November 1, the 28-year-old rapper was shot while attending a party at 810 Billiards and Bowling in Houston, Texas.

CNN reports that employees of the establishment told police that a dispute after the celebration had concluded led to Takeoff being struck by a stray bullet.

He was declared deceased at the scene. Before Takeoff's death, there were rumors of bad blood between Migos members following the group's recent dissolution.

Migos Breakup, Feud

Takeoff and Quavo's "war" with Offset is described. The friendship between Takeoff and Quavo was reportedly poor at the time of Takeoff's death.

Quavo and Takeoff had referred to Offset's lack of devotion and hinted at their efforts to mend their friendship as a trio.

After the release of their debut single "Hotel Lobby" in May 2022, Offset and his wife Cardi B unfollowed Quavo and Takeoff on Instagram, sparking rumors of a conflict between the group.

Offset was apparently on terrible terms with Quavo and Takeoff as they tried a duet project. During an interview on the "Big Facts" podcast, Quavo and Takeoff described themselves as a "duo."

Did Migos Reconcile?

While the group never officially announced a breakup, all three members pursued solo musical careers. Offset announced the release date for his upcoming solo album in September 2022, while Quavo and Takeoff released their debut collaborative album, "Only Built for Infinity Links," last month.

Quavo also referred to Offset's potential lack of loyalty.

"We stand on loyalty, real deal loyalty, and sometimes that sh-t ain't displayed," the 31-year-old rapper said.

"This ain't got nothing to do with no label, no paperwork, no QC, nothing. This got something to do with the three brothers. And sh-t, it is what it is. Right now, we gon' be the duo 'til time tell."

Quavo even said he and Takeoff were a pair until further notice.

While Quavo appeared to be alluding to an ongoing feud between Offset and Takeoff, Takeoff was more positive, stating that despite everything, they are still "family."

It's sad that Takeoff departed before Migos officially reconciled and create new music.

Offset just reacted to Takeoff's death after some silence, and fans believe he's feeling the blow of what happened and the fact that they have not reconciled.
