Zac Brown Band has a special treat for fans! The famed country band is expanding the group by adding their first female member, Caroline Jones; get to know more about the singer below!
The 32-year-old singer recently spoke to Entertainment Tonight about the announcement, saying being a part of the band is "the greatest honor" of her career so far.
Even though she'll be busy with tours, live performances, and working with the group in the recording studio, Jones will still maintain her solo career.
"To be validated not only as a singer and songwriter, but as a musician and member of the family, means more to me than I can put into words," she told the outlet.
Zac Brown also spoke to the outlet about the recent news, saying they felt like the female musician has been a part of their group for years as she already embarked on a few tours with them. She also helps out in the recording studio whenever she can.
"She is family and a badass musician. She sings the highest and works the hardest," she added. (via People Magazine)
Regarding her professional relationship with the country group, Zac Brown Band co-produced her latest album titled "Antipodes." On the other hand, she became the band's opening act for their tour in 2017.

Last year, the country crooners asked her to be a part of the tour as a special member.
Caroline Jones Bio, Career, More Details
According to the Wall Street Journal, Jones spent her early life in New York City. She was later raised in Greenwich, Connecticut.
Music has been a big part of the singer's life since she was a kid as she started taking singing lessons at nine. She wrote her first song at 10.
Andy Anselmo trained her to be a great singer in the fields of opera and jazz. Aside from playing the guitar, Jones also knows how to play the piano, banjo, harmonica, mandolin, and Dobro.
Her career started in 2010 when she wrote her debut album herself. She finally released her first-ever record titled "Fallen Flower" in January 2011.
A few years later, she joined Sirius XM's Coffee House for the show "Art & Soul" where she interviewed artists about their songwriting and music.
