Harry Styles's Gucci collection reflects his personal fashion choices: bright colors and fun patterns with a nostalgic twist from the 70s, reminiscent of his concept for his recently released album, "Harry's House."
In his interview with GQ, the British singer's HA HA HA campaign is a product of Styles and Gucci's years-long project. It appears that this has been in the works for quite some time now, too.
"I'm so happy to see this project finally come to life," said the 28-year-old singer. "I've known Alessandro for years now, and he's always been one of my favorite people. I'm always inspired watching him work, so doing this collaboration with my friend was very special to me."
He is referring to Allessandro Michele, Gucci's creative director, and according to him, coming up with the concept for the collection was something like children playing.
He described working with the "As It Was" singer as "kind of like working at home on a rainy day between two friends, doing something to have fun."
Michele explained that he and Styles worked on it through WhatsApp, and with a few glasses of wine and a dream, the collection came to life.
Although they did not entirely expound on what the process was truly like, one can only imagine that it was indeed a fun and exciting experience, as one would expect from the flamboyant singer, who is not afraid to sport a dress or two.
However, they also noted that the project is an effort to tip audiences closer toward "masculine transformation."

'HA HA HA'
According to reports, the collection's goal is to go beyond the norms of fashion and do away with the stereotypical look of masculine gender expression-and who else is better to represent this concept than the One Direction singer.
The luxury clothing brand nor Styles did not share the meaning behind the collection's name, however, fans can now purchase from the collaboration through Gucci's boutiques in the nation's major cities, including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Las Vegas, among others.
A video of Styles trying on the different pieces of the collection has been released on Gucci's social media accounts. Captioned "When Harry met Alessandro," Styles prances around the set as he changes from one look to another, leaving his clothes on the floor, making a big pile as he goes.
Fans are thrilled to finally see a collaboration between the artist and the brand.
"This feels a more authentically H than the majority of things we've seen the last few years. [...] Goofy, silly, real smiles. Items he designed. He looks confident in them, they fit his style and blurring of gender. True," a fan wrote.
