Rumors of Rihanna's music comeback have been up and running ever since she announced that she will be headlining the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show 2023.
Fans spotted the "California King Bed" hitmaker around a recording studio in Los Angeles weeks before the announcement of her comeback was released.
Hollywood insider Deuxmoi also reported that Rihanna is set to release a new song around Halloween time this 2022.
Weeks after it was reported, news broke that Rihanna would release her comeback single as part of the "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" soundtrack. Not only one single has been reported to be included on the "Black Panther" soundtrack, but two Rihanna songs.
Last week, "Lift Me Up," a hair-raising anthem from the Marvel film, was released. Rihanna fans celebrated the release, who had been on a six-year drought of new material from the Fenty owner.
Earlier today, the "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" album was already released. But to fans' surprise, the album includes only one Rihanna track, the already-released "Lift Me Up." (via Pitchfork)
'Black Panther: 'Wakanda Forever' Soundtrack Album
Following the Oscar-nominated soundtrack of its prequel, the new "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" album packs a star-studded roster of African-American artists, including Rihanna.
Award-winning Nigerian singer Tems was included on the soundtrack, singing the song "No Woman No Cry," a track played in the film's trailer.
Future, Stormzy, Burna Boy, and Fireboy DML also make an appearance on the album, among many other artists. Rising bedroom pop singer PinkPantheress is also included in the heavily curated album.

In the past few weeks, it has been anticipated that Rihanna would release another song, "Born Again," aside from "Lift Me Up."
However, to fans' dismay, the other "Born Again" is nowhere to be found.
Fans expressed their confusion on Twitter.
"where the hell is rihanna 2nd song," a fan asked.
"Someone said Rihanna had TWO songs on the Black Panther soundtrack. So wtf is the second one?!" another posted.
"WHERE'S BORN AGAIN?" a user echoes.
Aside from Rihanna, other fans seemed to be missing another black artist on the mix - Kendrick Lamar. The "Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers" rapper is one of the leading forces of the first album, birthing the song "All the Stars," which went on to be nominated for Best Original Song on the 2018 Academy Awards.
As of this writing, it was still unknown why "Born Again" was cut from the official album tracklist.
