Saturday marked the passing of Aaron Carter, who gained early popularity as a musician, television personality, and younger brother of Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter. He was 34.
His management company confirms to The Hollywood Reporter that he was discovered deceased at his Lancaster, California home. There was no cause of death listed. But as reported by TMZ, he was found in a bathtub.
A representative for the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to THR that a suspicious death occurred at Carter's property, but was unable to identify the name of the deceased.
As earlier reported, It's unclear whether his death could be possibly linked to his legal troubles.

Carter made his Broadway debut in 2001 as JoJo the Who in Seussical the Musical, and subsequently starred in the off-Broadway production of The Fantasticks.
Carter also made numerous unscripted television appearances, including co-starring with Nick and their brothers B.J., Aaron, Leslie, and Angel Carter on the 2006 E! series House of Carters. Leslie died in January 2012 at the age of 25 from a heroin overdose.
Among his past television appearances, he placed sixth on the 2009 season of ABC's Dancing With the Stars and appeared on the 2012 season of Rachael vs. Guy: Celebrity Cook-Off on the Food Network.
Since his early days as a teen heartthrob, Carter's personal life was a staple on gossip websites and the subject of numerous news stories. In November of 2021, he and Melanie Martin had their son Prince.
The singer and actor has been candid about his issues with substance misuse throughout the years, including in a 2017 episode of The Doctors. In September 2022, he reported entering treatment for the seventh time in an attempt to reclaim custody of his son.
In 2017, following an arrest on accusations of driving under the influence and marijuana charges, he had entered rehab.
