Dolly Parton is one of the most iconic musicians in the music industry and she recently praised Taylor Swift for her record-breaking chart placement on the Billboard Hot100.

Speaking to Access Hollywood on the red carpet of this year's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the "Jolene" songstress was asked to comment on the pop star's recent record.

It appears that Parton is a Swiftie as the singer revealed that she had been admiring the "Midnight Rain" singer for years.

"I love her... I think she's spectacular. Great writer, and I love how she presents herself. She's always been such a pro," she added. (via Billboard)

The latest interview comes a week after Taylor Swift reacted to her history-making chart placement on the Billboard Hot100 after all her songs from "Midnights" took all the top 10 spots.

"10 out of 10 of the Hot 100??? On my 10th album??? I AM IN SHAMBLES," the pop star wrote on Twitter.

In addition, all songs from her latest album, including the ones from the deluxe edition "3am Edition" also made it to the top 100.

Previous record-holders were Michael Jackson with seven songs, The Beatles with five songs, and Drake who's only one song shorter than Swift from his album "Certified Lover Boy."

"Midnights" is a historic album as she continues to break records, including having single-week vinyl album sales in the modern era.

Her 10th studio album sold a whopping 575,000 copies of vinyl LPs in its first week. Before she got the title, Harry Styles was the record-holder for selling 146,000 copies of his hit album "Harry's House" in its first three days.

Prior to the former One Direction member getting the record, Swift was the first one to break it after releasing her album "Red (Taylor's Version)."

Dolly Parton Updates, Taylor Swift Going on Tour

In the same interview, Dolly Parton hinted at her collaborators on an upcoming rock album.

The country icon said she did "Open Arms," a song by Elton John, and she would also collaborate with Steve Perry. Parton also wanted to team up with Steve Tyler, but she's still unsure.

On the other hand, Swift announced her return to touring during her special appearance on "Good Morning America."

"The Eras" tour, which will tackle all of her discographies through the years, is being promoted by Messina Touring Group. Swift also collaborated with Capitol One for the highly-anticipated shows.

"The tour is called the Eras tour and it's a journey through all of the musical eras of my career," she said.
