Is Jamie Spears complicating matters for Britney and her legal team?

During the current deposition, the pop star's lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, accused the renowned parent of refusing to answer even the most basic questions.

According to Radar Online, the powerful lawyer recently notified the court that Jamie finally arrived for a deposition on August 11 but made it incredibly difficult for them to obtain a meaningful response from him.

Mathew stated that Jamie's attorneys unlawfully advised him not to respond to the inquiry, and that the renowned father refuses to answer any direct questions.

He also said it was improper for Jamie to refuse to answer the questions, especially given he raised the issues. Jamie, according to Mathew, was the one who told the court that the "Baby One More Time" singer paid his legal fees.

The lawyer reminded the court that Britney's father stated that if he ever paid his expenses, he would file for bankruptcy, and that the court had ordered him to turn over records and messages written to Britney.

Mathew stated in court records that not every communication was presented. They also "made it hard to understand the context of any individual text or even what was being discussed, because the messageswere not grouped by conversation or even produced chronologically as required."

Jamie did create some emails, but "haphazardly-not in chronological order, and also not connected together."

While Mathew is unsure whether Jamie Spears done so on purpose, he does believe that the disclosure of these emails "made it needlessly difficult or impossible to analyze the records and ask him questions about them during deposition."

Other papers given over were password-protected as well. Jamie, on the other hand, neglected to deliver the passwords to such, which should have done months ago.

If this continues, Jamie might face a $10,000 fine.

Britney Spears Conservatorship

Britney Spears was eventually released from her controversial conservatorship last year, after 13 years. Jamie, her father, was keeping a close eye on her.

Though there is legal finality, many concerns about his purpose remain, but Vulture may have the solution.

According to the story, Jamie acquired a bad characteristic from her twisted family tree: "a relentless drive to dominate and manipulate the women in their lives."
