Pantera's reunion with its surviving members Phil Anselmo and Rex Brown will happen soon, Crowbar frontman Kirk Windstein said.

After being formed in 1981, Pantera entered the thrash metal scene and scored several accolades despite losing more than half of its members. After Glaze left the band for good in 1986 and after the deaths of Dimebag Darrell and Vinnie Paul in 2004 and 2018, respectively, they have to continue with its surviving members, Rex Brown and Phil Anselmo.

As for the possibility of a Pantera reunion, Crowbar frontman Kirk Windstein recently confirmed that Anselmo and Brown would come together to perform alongside Zakk Wylde and Charlie Benante for a world tour.

Per Blabbermouth, the world tour - which will be under Pantera's banner, will visit cities and venues in North America, South America, and Europe.

"But you've got a situation with a band who not only have old-school fans that have not seen them perform since f** 2001 or whatever the last shows were, you've also got an entire new generation, including my bass player, who's 34 years old but was too young to actually go to a concert, to travel or whatever and go see," he said in a "Talk Louder" podcast.

For Windstein, the reunion will serve as a tribute to a legacy, although it has been hard for Pantera to continue without Darrell and Paul.

Pantera Reunion Happening Soon

Next month, Pantera members will mark their first shows in 20 years. They will start at Mexico's Hell & Heaven Metal Fest and Monterrey Metal Fest.

They will jet in South America and appear in three Knotfest festivals before sharing a stage with JUDAS PRIEST in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and a headline concert in Santiago.

Meanwhile, Pantera will have a fruitful career next year as the band has been tapped to appear at Germany's Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park from June 2 to 4.

From June 22 to 24 next year, the band will go to Oslo, Norway.

Currently, Scott McGhee of 1 Degree Music Entertainment is managing Pantera, while Dennis Arfa and Peter Pappalardo are agents for its North American tours. The agents have since expressed their excitement about working with the iconic band as it brings back its music.

Pantera released several albums and managed to sell more than 20 million albums throughout its active years.
