Former My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way may be a Hesitant Alien for his upcoming debut solo album, but the alt-rocker was anything but hesitant over the weekend, when he revealed his record's official cover. On Saturday (Aug. 16), the "Action Cat" singer took to his official Twitter account to show off the 3D-inspired artwork.
"Just boarded, about to take off- leave you with this- #HesitantAlien final album cover. See you in the UK..." he wrote before posting the album cover.
The image in question features a red-haired Way dressed ina blue suit jacket and red tie, looking like he's about to attack some sort of creature out of the frame (an alien, perhaps)? Reflecting in some ways an Instagram photo, Way is positioned in front of a plain white background, with his album title and name typed above him in a sans-serif font.

Hesitant Alien will be Way's solo album debut, following the demise of MCR in March 2013. The album is currently led by the hook-filled single "Action Cat," though Way teased a new single for this week, in a bizarre TV infomercial style video entitled "Pink Station Zero."
Way's Hesitant Alien will be released on Sept. 30 via Warner Bros. Records. Check out the album's full tracklisting below:
