Olivia Wilde seems to be unfazed by her split from Harry Styles--or is she? The actress was spotted sporting a flattering black and white tulle gown on the red carpet of the 13th Oscars Governors Awards.
News of Wilde and Styles' breakup dominated the newsstands over the weekend, as it was revealed that the pair decided to go "take a break."
According to Daily Mail UK, hours after news of the pair's break-up hit headlines, the actress was seen looking "glum" as she went out and about Los Angeles.
Wilde was seen strolling the streets with a friend, sporting a baseball cap, a t-shirt, a pair of jeans, and sunglasses. The publication noted that although she attempted to smile for the cameras, her attempts were "half-hearted."
The following day, however, was a different story altogether. The same publication shared snaps of Wilde looking stunning next to other stars at Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles.
This marks her first red carpet-appearance after her breakup, and she was all smiles. Her "revenge dress" consisted of a black and white tulle gown paired with a pair of black gloves and heels.
Breakup
According to People, Wilde and Styles decided to part ways "amicably," despite what Wilde's former nanny alleged in her interview with Daily Mail UK.
"He's still touring and is now going abroad. She is focusing on her kids and her work in L.A.," said a source to People. "It's a very amicable decision."
Another source noted that the break-up was due to Styles' ongoing tour and Wilde's responsibilities as a mother: "They're still very close friends. Right now, they have different priorities that are keeping them apart."
On the other hand, Wilde's former nanny shared how ecstatic she was of the recent news.
"That's what happens when the ugly finally comes out! I am beyond ecstatic that Harry dropped her like a hot potato!" She told Daily Mail UK.
However, reports also note that it is unconfirmed who instigated the breakup, or if it was a mutual decision.
The pair's messy relationship has been in the headlines recently, following the release of Wilde's movie, "Don't Worry Darling," in which Styles played a lead role.
