Nas and Jay-Z's feud is considered to be one of the most well-known battles in hip-hop history.

All throughout the 90s, rivalry between big-name stars in the genres becomes an important part of the genre's heritage. Whether it's Drake vs. Kanye West or 2Pac vs. Biggie, the battles are always accompanied by stressful moments and, of course, very unforgettable music.

Nas and Jay-Z have had a rocky relationship that has turned into a rivalry at various stages in their careers. They've thrown shots at each other on multiple times, making their feud a focal point of fans' attention throughout.

But now that both rappers are considered GOAT (greatest of all time) candidates, it appears that the two are once again engaged in a historic war.

According to AllHipHop, Nas, whose true name is Nasir bin Olu Dara Jones, tied Beyonce's husband for a big Billboard 200 record this week.

Nas' album, "King's Disease III," debuted at number 10 on the Billboard 200 list, selling 29,000 copies in its first week.

This is the 16th Top 10 entry for the Crown Heights, New York native. Nas now shares the record for the most Top 10 projects by a Hip-Hop music artist with Jay-Z.

The "If I Ruled the World" rapper's first Top 10 album was "It Was Written," which topped the charts in 1996. That second studio album spent four weeks at the top of the charts.

Nas has six number ones, which include, "The Firm: The Album," "I Am...," "Hip Hop is Dead," "Untitled" and "Life Is Good."

Meanwhile, Jay-Z has the most number one albums as a solo act. Throughout his career, the "New York" rapper has had 14 number ones. Meanwhile, The Beatles have the most hits (19), with Drake coming in third with 12.

It's unclear whether Nas and Jay-Z's feud is over, as the latter casually honored his arch-nemesis with a TIDAL-exclusive playlist featuring 24 songs and a tribute to Nas.

Nas vs. Jay-Z Net Worth 2022: Who Is Richer?

However, Jay-Z is still richer, with a net worth of $1.3 billion as the record producer and founder of the conglomerate talent and entertainment agency, Roc Nation.
