Dolly Parton and Miley Cyrus share a long history together and the two will take the stage again to welcome 2023 with a bang.
Taking to her official Instagram account, the "We Can't Stop" songstress shared a video of herself along with her godmother sitting at a table with champagne to share the special announcement.
"Miley's New Year's Eve party is about getting glamorous and dressing your best," Cyrus said, to which the country legend replied, "well we do that every day, don't we, Miley?"
In the latter part of the clip, the pair can be seen posing for the camera and having fun around balloons.
In a separate post, Miley Cyrus shared a picture of herself wrapping her arms around her godmother as the two smiles together. She captioned the post with "#NewYearNewCoHost @dollyparton."
Where and How to Watch Miley Cyrus, Dolly Parton's New Year's Eve Party?
Produced by Lorne Michaels, "Miley's New Year's Eve Party" will be available for live streaming via NBC and Peacock on December 31 from 10:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. ET.
According to Deadline, Miley Cyrus and Michaels serve as executive producers, Evan Prager and Jesse Ignjatovic serve as executive producers for Den of Thieves.
The pop star's mom, Tish Cyrus' Hopetown Entertainment will also produce the show and it will be directed by Joe DeMaio.
Aside from the two singers, there will also be a lineup of star-studded performers, but NBC has yet to announce the special guests.
Speaking about the upcoming event, Executive Vice President of NBCUniversal Jen Neal said last year's show, which was co-hosted by Pete Davidson, was an "unqualified success" and they know that this year would be the same.
"We can't wait to get the party started," she added.
Miley Cyrus' 2022 New Year's Eve Was a Success
Last year, the "Midnight Sky" hitmaker teamed up with "Saturday Night Live" star Pete Davidson for New Year's Eve and it was a success.
Since they have been friends before collaborating for the 2022 event, the two had natural chemistry on stage and were able to deliver a good performance throughout the two-hour show.
Despite the event being successful, Cyrus and the production team were cautious about the health standards at the time as there was a "COVID surge and a big spike around the country."
Last year's performers include Jack Harlow, Brandi Carlile, Saweetie, and Billie Joe Armstrong.
