Latto is "flourishing" with controversy from here and there.

Coming from an unfortunate trip home as she lost all her American Music Awards nominations last Sunday, Nov. 22, 2022, 130 of her unreleased songs are being leaked online, most of them including demos and collaborations with other rappers and artists.

According to HiphopDX, Latto's leaked songs surfaced online; some of it was questionable due to the history of her collaborators and her former statements on social media.

One of the songs that went viral was Latto's supposed verse on Coi Leray and Nicki Minaj's "Blick Blick."

However, since the leaks spread like wildfire on social media and it was being reshared countless of times - one thing remains unclear, is Latto supposed to be a replacement for Nicki Minaj? The bars that Latto rapped on the leaked demo were still used on the final version.

With the shocking leaks, Latto's unconfirmed involvement with the song seemingly made sense on one of her fiery tirades against Nicki Minaj earlier this year, saying that they both worked with ghostwriters - referencing the same hook.

Aside from this, a verse with Tory Lanez also ended up on the leaks. This particularly shocked many people considering Lanez's history with Megan. Latto appeared on Meg's latest album "Traumazine," collaborating on "Budget."

The leaks also featured Latto's own take on BIA's 2021 hit "Whole Lotta Money," which featured almost the same hook as the final material. Minaj, later on hopped in for a remix version of the song with BIA. She then clarified that Latto had nothing to do with the writing of the song.

Latto, seemingly unfazed by the hundreds of leaks, just posted a video of her in her AMAs gown and captioned it with a rather subtle response: "Trending," paired with a kiss mark emoji.

Latto was nominated thrice at the American Music Awards, once for New Artist of the Year, which she lost to Dove Cameron, Favorite Female Hip-Hop Artist by Nicki Minaj, and Favorite Rap/Hip Hop Song by Future, Drake and Tems.

Meanwhile, Latto has been nominated at the 2023 Grammy Awards as Best New Artist and Best Melodic Rap Performance for her "Big Energy (Live)."
