Despite its last airing in 2015, "Glee" has remained a huge talking point on social media up until now. The cult classic television series that created a pop culture phenomenon in 2009 is still making waves up until now, thanks to its ever-controversial cast, including current Fanny Brice on Broadway, Lea Michele.

Michele had been widely scrutinized in the past, mainly because of her alleged diva attitude and reported racial microaggressions on set.

But since the news erupted, the public had been relentless in checking out her fellow cast members about what her actual attitude on set was.

Speaking to Insider recently to promote their new podcast, "And That's What You Really Missed," "Glee" alums Kevin McHale and Jenna Ushkowitz sat down and revealed the real score between them and Lea Michele.

Earlier this year, Michele had been in entertainment news headlines because of her controversial replacement to Beanie Feldstein in the 2022 revival production of "Funny Girl" on Broadway. Since then, Michele has always been a trending topic.

Now, according to McHale, who played the wheelchaired Artie Abrams, and Ushkowitz, who gave life to the sassy Tina Cohen-Chang, revealed a pretty interesting tidbit about their friendship with Michele.

"I mean, back then it was like we all were a family, right? That will never change," Ushkowitz confessed. "Like I've said before, she was professional. She knew her lines, she showed up, she did her job, and she was excellent at it."

McHale, on the other hand, admitted that he had not spoken to Michele in quite a while but described their friendship to be "cool."

"I think the thing is with family, it's like we are all very honest with each other and respectful of each other's opinions and things like that. And so, we're able to have those conversations with one another and be mature about it," he pointed out.

Meanwhile, Ushkowitz stressed that despite the fans thinking that they are not "cool" with each other, she begged to differ: "We've all kind of, like, moved on. As much as people think we haven't, and the press hasn't, we've moved on."

McHale and Ushkowitz are hosting their own podcast, "And That's What You Really Missed," a reimagined & rebranded Glee recap podcast in partnership with iHeart Radio.
