Axl Rose would appreciate it if drone pilots at Guns N' Roses concerts would not literally get into his space, his face.

The leader of Guns N' Roses took to Twitter to express his anger with "drone pirates" who have been flying their 'crafts' during GN'R concerts in Australia.

Gn'R performed at the 27,500-capacity Metricon Stadium on the Gold Coast in Queensland last night (November 24), treating fans to a 28-song set that included covers of national heroes AC/DC (Whole Lotta Rosie), The Stooges (I Wanna Be Your Dog), Wings (Live And Let Die), and Bob Dylan (Knockin' On Heaven's Door).

However, according to Rose, the band was distracted by drones flying above the stage.

In his Twitter, he ranted that this whole tour had a few unmanned aerial vehicles. However, most likely, last night (Gold Coast, Australia) was the most obtrusive. He said it was evident that someone believed it was acceptable to do that, as well as the fact that it came so close to the stage and then actually landed on it. Although clearly, it was not.

He said that while he understands why some people would use drones, they will prefer it if anyone planning to be a drone pirate took the fans and the band into account and played with their toys elsewhere.

Guns N' Roses will continue their tour on November 27 at Sydney's Accor Stadium, then perform in Adelaide and Melbourne before going to New Zealand. Below is fan-filmed footage of Guns N' Roses performing Whole Lotta Rosie by AC/DC at Metricon Stadium.

The band takes their gigs seriously and always want their audience to get their money's worth.

Back in July, it can be recalled that Guns N' Roses have canceled their Glasgow performance less than twenty-four hours before the scheduled start time.

The band stated that they are currently unable to perform "due to illness and doctor's orders." It follows the cancellation of the Red Hot Chili Peppers' concert at Glasgow's Bellahouston park last week.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the band, lead by Axl Rose, had already delayed their European tour dates twice. DF Concerts stated that ticket holders will be notified when the concert is rescheduled. This weekend, the TRNSMT music festival, which is also produced by DF Concerts, will take place on Glasgow Green.
