Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber have been married for years now and many fans have been waiting for them to have a bundle of joy to share with the world. There have been several times that the model was rumored to be pregnant, but the recent one was confirmed to be false, but instead, she revealed devastating news about her health.
Taking to her official Instagram account, the YouTube content creator shared a photo of her swollen abdomen with the text "not a baby."
The model later confirmed that the bump she has was caused by a cyst on her ovary which she described as a "size of an apple."
"I don't have endometriosis or PCOS but I have gotten an ovarian cyst a few times and it's never fun," she wrote. (via Billboard)
It appears that the medical condition is taking a toll on her physical health as she revealed that the ovarian cyst makes her feel nauseous, bloated, crampy, and emotional.
As of this writing, Hailey Bieber has not revealed if she would undergo any medication or surgery for her current situation.
According to Mayo Clinic, there are some cases of ovarian cysts that could be associated with decreased fertility. Two of the reasons are endometriomas and cysts caused by polycystic ovary syndrome.
Hailey confirmed in her Instagram story that she doesn't have both of the conditions mentioned above.
On the other hand, Justin Bieber has not publicly commented about his wife's current medical woe.
Justin Bieber, Hailey Bieber Baby Plans
In the Amazon Prime documentary titled "Justin Bieber: Our World" released in 2021, the couple discussed having a baby while walking together.
The "Justice" hitmaker said his intention for that year is to continue setting goals and have fun while doing them, but he also wanted to focus on his family and hopes to "squish out a nugget," meaning have a baby.
Hailey asked if they were doing it in 2021, to which her husband replied that they should try conceiving by the end of the year.
However in an interview with WSJ Magazine's Spring Women's Fashion issue, the model revealed that they would try "in the next couple of years" because they're unsure about how long the process of having a baby could take, that's why they opt to have "no kids this year."
