Carter's bereaved family bid goodbye to him after he was found dead in his bathtub on November 5. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department received a 911 call made by his housekeeper, and they found the singer's lifeless body inside his residence later that day.
His body has since been cremated, and his twin sister Angel Carter Conrad, currently keeps his ashes. His mother, Jane, told a news outlet that the family would soon gather to scatter his ashes in the waters of the singer's home state, Florida.
