KISS is currently touring around the world and they consider their set of shows as their "farewell" but no one really knows when it will end as the band keeps on adding more dates.
More recently, Paul Stanley spoke to Page Six to reveal the group's future plans if ever they decide to officially retire.
"At this point, it really comes down to what's possible at certain ages," the rocker said.
He then noted that the group could possibly still perform when until they're in their 90s if they were wearing sneakers, jeans, and shirts. However, the KISS fantasy isn't complete if they won't wear their iconic costumes, which he says weigh over 50 pounds.
"At some point, you realize that you can't do that indefinitely," he added.
When asked about their so-called "never-ending tour," Stanley said people have to acknowledge that they lost two years because of the global pandemic, so after the set of shows were announced, they weren't able to perform in 2020 and 2021.
Despite the band being established five decades ago, it appears that they still have a big appeal and fanbase proven by the number of attendees of their recent shows.
Stanley noted that over 80,000 people attended their concert in Mexico City, while in Tokyo, they played in front of almost 40,000 concertgoers.
The Future of KISS
Speaking about their future, the musician said he still sees the rock group in the decades to come and will continue to be a part of American culture even after their death.
"I see KISS continuing - in what form that manifests itself is really something that will develop over time... But quite honestly, we couldn't kill KISS if we wanted to. It's a part of Americana," he said.
Regarding the final date of their tour, Gene Simmons previously told the outlet that they know when to hang their costumes and wrap up their tour.
However, he refused to reveal the exact date. Despite performing in front of their fans almost every single night, the rocker said they don't want to "stay on stage too long," but they are still enjoying.
KISS' "The End of the Road" world tour's next stop would be at the Monsters of Rock in Estadio Nemesio Camacho El Campin in Bogota, Colombia on April 15.
Information regarding official tour dates and tickets are available on their official website.
