Earlier this week, it was reported that a crucial witness to the Tory Lanez felony assault trial against Megan Thee Stallion was deemed missing.
At the height of the revelations and retractions that came from both sides of the benches, Megan Thee Stallion has yet to fully prove that Tory Lanez actually shot her in the foot at a Kylie Jenner party in 2020.
Supposedly, Megan Thee Stallion's bodyguard, Justin Edison, is due to appear in court next week to take the stand as a crucial witness for Megan Thee Stallion's side.
However, according to Radar Online, Edison reportedly vanished days before he was actually slate to appear in court.
In a statement to TMZ, Megan Thee Stallion's lawyer, Alex Spiro, confirmed Megan The Stallion's bodyguard's disappearance.
"We recently learned that Justin Edison went missing right before he was scheduled to appear in court," the statement reads. "The LAPD is currently looking into his disappearance, and welcome any information about his whereabouts."
In a separate report, Rolling Stone said that the presiding judge had already been requested to issue a warrant for Edison - indicating that the prosecution had given up on efforts to locate him.
It was said that Megan Thee Stallion's bodyguard, Justin Edison's lawyer, had been waiting for his client's response since last Thursday. He is said to have relevant information about the shooting that transpired, despite not being on the actual scene.
Now, it seems like Megan Thee Stallion's bodyguard Justin Edison was already found, and he is a thousand miles away from the United States, celebrating with other thousands of people across the globe at the FIFA World Cup.
According to Media Take Out, Justin Edison's whereabouts were in Qatar, where the 2022 FIFA World Cup has recently taken place.
Apparently, he has been working security for a high-profile individual at the sporting event.
"Justin was hired as personal security [for a very important person] and is currently in Qatar, while [the person he is protecting] is at the World Cup," the source said.
As per the source, Justin Edison, Megan Thee Stallion's bodyguard, who is a crucial witness to the trial, is set to continue his security gig with the VIP until he's back home safe and sound.
More so, it was reported by the source that Megan Thee Stallion's bodyguard Justin Edison would not arrive in the United States until Thursday next week, and by then, the trial will likely have been concluded.
