Pusha T has severed ties with his previous company, GOOD Music, the music label of embattled music mogul Kanye West.
In the past few months, Kanye West has been plaguing the headlines with his antisemitic crackdown on social media. Because of this, personalities and other celebrities have been distancing themselves from the company of Kanye West.
Asked by XXL if he is still affiliated with G.O.O.D. Music label amid Kanye West's controversial statements on social media - Pusha had vehemently denied his affiliation with the company.
"No. No, No, I'm not." Pusha said. "I'm at Def Jam. I have a 50/50 venture with Def Jam. For my own music and for my label."
Per NME, Pusha T was appointed president of G.O.O.D. Music in 2015 after Che Pope. The publication also noted that he was active with Def Jam for the past seven years, while he is the longest-serving president of the company, as most of the people that came before him only lasted for three years.
Currently, Pusha T is the owner of his own music label imprint, Heir Wave Music Group, a company he founded in 2020.
The move came weeks after Pusha publicly slammed Kanye West over his antisemitic statements on the media.

"It's definitely affected me. It's been disappointing. As a Black man in America, there is no room for bigotry or hate speech. So yeah. It's been very disappointing," he said in a statement to The Los Angeles Times.
But despite his difference in opinion, it would seem like Pusha T still respects the bond he created with the rap icon.
"Creatively, Ye has meant freedom to me. A lot of times, people would try to get me to change certain things about my process, change certain things about me lyrically, change certain things about the content. He never has been like that. He always saw me for who I was and knew how to take it to the next level," he continued.
Meanwhile, Kanye West has been quite on a down low since the start of his supposed presidential campaign with extreme-right-wing personalities like Milo Yiannopoulos, among many others.
"[West] knows I will do everything I gotta do and wanna do. In regard to anything that jeopardizes my look, my pride, anything. He knows that. He knows there's no talking me off any ledges. He just can't do it. With him knowing that," Pusha further said to XXL.
